No, once you’ve purchased a vSeeBox, you can enjoy the content available through the pre-installed Heat Apps without any extra charges. It’s the ultimate cable-cutting solution—no more cable bills! However, for apps like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+, you’ll need your own account to access their services.
You can use it anywhere in the world, you can take it for travelling/road trips as well. (currently no service in China).
All you need is a TV or monitor with an HDMI port and a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to set up your vSeeBox. For the best streaming experience, we recommend a network speed of at least 15 Mbps, with Ethernet being ideal for smooth and reliable streaming.
A VPN is not required to use vSeeBox. However, if you frequently use third-party apps or need to change your location for accessing services like Netflix, we recommend using a VPN for a better experience.
Absolutely! vSeeBox is fully compatible with the Google Android TV system, allowing you to download and install any official apps from the Google Play Store for optimal performance. If you’re interested in third-party apps that aren’t available on the Play Store, you can visit the Market on the vSeeBox home page, where we’ve curated some popular third-party apps for easy download and installation.
For a smooth streaming experience with vSeeBox, we recommend a network speed of at least 15 Mbps. For the most stable and fast connection, using an Ethernet cable is preferable over Wi-Fi. If you’re watching VOD content, you can adjust the picture quality based on your internet speed. A 15 Mbps connection is ideal for high-quality streaming without buffering, while for 4K/UHD VODs in Heat VOD Ultra, we recommend a 25 Mbps connection for seamless viewing.
You can insert a TF card to order to expand the storage. It supports FAT format with 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB,128GB,256GB… However, apps must be installed on the device to use (in Apk file).
We recommend using Google Play Store, as our vSeeBox is highly compatible with Android TV, you can get all the official apps such as Netflix, YouTube TV, and Disney+ there.
For some 3rd party apps out of the Google Play Store, you can visit the Market on Home Page. We have added some common 3rd party apps in the vSee Market for easy downloading and installation.
On the 1st row of the Home page, Settings, Apps, select the app(s) you want to uninstall, and click Uninstall.
vSeeBox supports Over-The-Air updates to keep your device updated. On the 3rd row of the Home Page, select the Software update. You can check if any new updates with Online Update.
Please visit the Bluetooth section: Home Screen settings row, System settings, and Bluetooth. Choose Pair new device.
To pair the Bluetooth remote, hold both [OK] and [VOL-] buttons until the red light flashes on the remote indicator. Now new device “vSeeBox Remoter” will show there, and connect it.
Factory reset will erase all data and caches on the vSeeBox. However, you can install the apps back after resetting.You can find that on: 3rd row home screen – system settings – device preference – reset – erase everything.
If your network is showing as “remembered” but not “connected,” it likely means there’s a password error. To resolve this, you can reconnect to the network by following these steps: go to the third row on the Home Screen, select System Settings, then Network. Click on your Wi-Fi network, choose Forget Network, and then reconnect by entering the correct password.
We recommend shutting down (powering off) your vSeeBox if you won’t be using it for a while. This helps free up internal storage and ensures smoother performance the next time you turn it on.
Sleep mode is best for short breaks when you plan to use the box again soon. In sleep mode, the box isn’t completely turned off, allowing for a quicker wake-up time.
To search for a movie or TV series, use the Search function located on the left-hand side of the VOD main page. For example, if you’re looking for the movie “Moonfall,” you can simply type “moon” or “fall” into the search bar to find it.
When you select a VOD, you’ll see options like “Play,” “Info,” and “Favorite” on the page before you start watching. Simply click the “Favorite” button to add the movie or TV series to your favorites list.
You can access your Favorite list by selecting Favorite at the top of the VOD main page. To remove a movie or TV series from your favorites, hover over the title and press the Menu button on your remote, then select the option to cancel your favorite.
For VODs that offer different quality options, you can easily adjust the picture quality based on your network environment. During VOD streaming, press the Menu button on your remote, then navigate to Quality. From there, you can choose between High, Normal, and Low quality settings, with High quality offering up to 4K resolution.
For VODs that offer subtitles, you can easily turn them on or off and even select different languages. During VOD streaming, press the Menu button on your remote, then navigate to Subtitles. From there, you can choose “None” to turn off subtitles or select from the available languages to enable them.
For VODs that offer multiple track languages, you can easily switch between them. During VOD streaming, press the Menu button on your remote, then navigate to Track. From there, you can choose from available languages such as English, Español, and more, depending on what’s available for that specific content.
Buffering can occur due to high traffic or slow internet speeds. If you experience frequent buffering, try holding down the “Pause” button for about 15 seconds before resuming playback—this can often resolve the issue.
Additionally, you can adjust the picture quality to better match your network speed. During VOD streaming, press the Menu button on your remote, go to Quality, and choose from High, Normal, or Low settings. Opting for a lower quality can help reduce buffering, while High quality may provide up to 4K resolution if your network can support it.
